Under-cabinet lighting usually means an electrician or a mess of adhesive strips and a visible cable.

GlowStrip is a 10-inch aluminium bar with a magnetic back plate. Screw or stick the plate once, then the bar snaps on and pulls off for charging. The PIR sensor covers about 10 ft and only triggers below a set ambient threshold, so it stays dark during the day instead of flashing every time you walk past.

Roughly six weeks per charge at normal use, and the light itself is diffused across the full length — a soft line rather than a row of visible dots.
